Amy is basically made of glitter, rainbows, and pure joy. She’s the heart behind so many of our youngest dancers’ first experiences at ATB—and she makes every single one feel like magic. Whether she’s choreographing a showstopper or helping a nervous 3-year-old into their first tap shoes, Amy brings the perfect mix of energy, sparkle, and heart.

She started dancing at age 2 and never looked back—competing nationally by age 5, training across the country, and even dancing in places like Disneyland, New York, and LA. (Yes, that was her in the Oprah flash mob with the Black Eyed Peas. Yes, it was epic.) Amy studied dance while earning her BA in Spanish and International Business from the University of Iowa, and she continued her training at Hubbard Street and DePaul’s Ballet program. But more than anything, she’s a lifelong believer in the power of positivity, creativity, and fun.

At ATB, Amy leads our youth program with endless patience, big ideas, and the best pep talks you’ve ever heard. She’s a cheerleader for every kid who walks through the door—and she never misses a chance to make them feel seen and celebrated.

When she’s not at the studio, you’ll find her in LeClaire with her husband Brian and their three awesome kids—Kaleb, Rose, and Jakob—running between dance class, baseball games, track meets, and football fields. She recharges with yoga, good coffee, and a whole lot of family time
